About Us

With only a dream, and a piece of beautiful land. Gibaland has been built up from scratch since 2019. Inspired to create unique space at a central location, affordable to all who need to get away, eat some food or host an event. Offering live local music, kids entertainment and Gibafest events saw us finding our place within KwaZulu Natal.

With a dedicated team and a vision, we have in a short time created a variety of unique experiences and inspiring venue spaces. For corporate or private functions, inside and outside. You are bound to find a space at Gibaland perfect for your event, alone time or family outing. With onsite TeePee accommodation, camp grounds and a fully equipped restaurant Cafe Umfula. We have everything you need and more at Gibaland.

All food is prepared daily from fresh produce. Our restaurant caters for events as well as walk-ins from the gorge. Choose from our à la carte menu where we have a selection hearty meals catering for vegetarians and our fury friends too. Our restaurant offers a beautiful outdoor kids play area situated in sight of the restaurant, along with short walks through the gorge to two beautiful waterfalls, dams and more..
