Nestled within Giba Gorge and surrounded by lush greenery, Gibaland offers an affordable venue perfect for intimate events. Whether you’re hosting a corporate event, private party, live band, wedding or birthday celebration, our versatile space can accommodate up to 150 guests. We charge a per-head rate, making it ideal for micro-events, with flexible packages to suit your budget. Our venue offers an indoor out door atmosphere, private bar, a cozy bonfire pit, a pond, garden and beautiful natural surroundings, creating the perfect backdrop for unforgettable memories and stunning photos. We also offer catering services to ensure your event is seamless and stress-free.

Our Teepees can cater for up to 25 people while our glamping caters for an additional 30-50 of your guests.

Schools
GibaLand is home to so much knowledge. We offer a wide range of children’s development programs. We have hosted scout groups, school tour, and more. Informative nature walks, to physical course settings. Because we understand everyone is unique we invite the teachers to make use of our facilities to create a space where they can teach the kids any skills, our venue is open for schools to come facilitate their own events.
Weddings
Weddings at Gibaland are absolutely magical with a picturesque backdrop of trees, fauna and babbling brook. The bird’s song and flowing river welcomes you and your guests as you walk through the inviting trees ready to embrace you as you say ‘I Do’.
Private
Our space is perfect for private birthdays and functions. We have created a beautiful space for you to come and enjoy birthdays, bachelor parties and more. We offer everything from food to entertainment for your special day. Otherwise join us on your special day at Cafe Umfula where you get a free drink of your choice with any meal on your birthday.
